Marie Macklin CBE recently welcomed Scottish Enterprise to the HALO Enterprise and Innovation Centre.

Adrian Gillespie, CEO, and Willie Mackie, Vice Chair, of Scottish Enterprise one of the HALO’s funding partners were given a tour of the low carbon building by the HALO’s Founder and Executive Chair, Marie Macklin CBE.

Marie showed Adrian and Willie around the facility’s 15,500 square foot #RockMe trading floor, set to open in January 2022, where scale-ups, SMEs and newcos will create employment through digital and cyber technologies built around health, energy and enterprise.

Marie said: “Everyone at the HALO is grateful for the advice and collaboration we receive from Scottish Enterprise and we are very much looking forward to their continued support in driving forward the Ayrshire and Scotland economy and in particular the green economy and also the cyber and digital sectors.

“I’d also like to thank everyone at Scottish Enterprise for their support during the Covid-19 pandemic which has been greatly appreciated as we complete phase one of the HALO Kilmarnock with the HALO Enterprise and Innovation Centre set to open in January 2022.”
