It is a landmark moment for Ayrshire today as the £251 million Ayrshire Growth Deal is officially signed by the UK and Scottish Governments and the North, South and East Ayrshire Councils.

This massive investment in the region will see local people benefit from the thousands of jobs created and the HALO will play a big part in this investment as a community led development that will breathe new life into not just Kilmarnock and East Ayrshire, but the whole of Scotland.

The Ayrshire Growth Deal is a major opportunity to strengthen the Ayrshire, Scottish and UK economies. Targeted investment, coordinated throughout Ayrshire, will act as a powerful catalyst to stimulate growth, resulting in increased job opportunities and prosperity for Ayrshire, Scotland and the UK as a whole.
